I can’t believe that so many people don’t realize that in their first battle vegeta was clearly more powerful than goku. In his great ape form, he crushed the Anti Social Nurse Shirt. But, let’s be honest, he really didn’t even need to transform. Vegeta was in control of the fight even before this, but let his rage get in the way. After rolling off Goku’s kamehameha beam he was still far and away in the lead, as far as endurance goes.
