I’m Not A Bookworm I m A Bookasaurus T shirt in there you are going to be cooking chemical paint that’s going to come right off there are some pots all clay but most of the ones you see are painted that color so be careful before you kill yourself on some stupid. This is not a smoker. Smokers use indirect heat. This is a grill. I’m sure buying a Weber hibachi grill would be easier and cost about the same. We’ve been doing something similar to this for years, thanks to Alton Brown! Except he used a coil hot plate. But we can’t find them to replace the one we had so we resorted to coal and chips. Works wonderful! We also don’t use sealant tape or wonderfully.
