I agree with you. The virus š¦ itself is not the current administrations fault. But the initial response & the way it was handled was subpar. Two main reasons: (1) the level of threat was not taken seriously initially, despite numerous members of the medical community including Dr. Fauci pleading. (2) In 2016 major budget cuts were made, which affected the CDC directly. As a result, initial resources and protocol was not in place. This is a learning opportunity to put it mildly for America.
