I would say this is a hidden gem only insofar as it’s kind of Killer klowns from outer space poster. I spent a few years on a couple friends trying to recommend it, but on the surface its a hard sell. People don’t realize how classic the production of this film is, it’s hilarious and brilliant. Easy to write off as “oh that’s probably a shitty ‘asylum’ style picture”.
