These could cause the company to not only lose profits, but ultimately be destroyed. No now we don’t just have a million underpaid workers, but a million people with no jobs at all. I’m not justifying Amazon or Bezos not paying workers more, it just shouldn’t come out of Bezos’ net worth but from government laws that they have to pay better wages. Also companies at Amazons scale shouldn’t get nearly the tax deductions they do and should be required to pay appropriate taxes.
