I decided to run Loch Ness this summer, as it was on my shortlist of Jogging American Flag Stay Strong Everything Will Be Ok Shirt. I would consider. I’ve run in two before, injuring myself in Austin and needing to finish the half course instead, and finishing a trail marathon later on. My body is just not built for marathons, and I’m ok with that. But Loch Ness is so beautiful that I thought it’d be worth it.  I trained really well up until September. My dad died in July and I had to fly to the States for three weeks unexpectedly, but running really helped my get some quiet time to be alone with my thoughts.
