Not sure Iran is very different from so many other countries that want to assert their dominance. Iran has a young and fairly educated population. Maybe they will “fix” Iran. We humans are tribal and we apparently are bent on asserting our group over another group. Israel may be a counterbalance to Iran. We view countries from the outside, and tend to see them in caricature. The Middle East is a very complex place and when we fix one thing something else needs fixing.
