Wish I could tell him he’s not alone and that I feel the same way to a T. I’m high key pissed off about all the over simplified advice in the comments because if it was that easy it obviously wouldn’t be a problem. It’s also incredibly invalidating to the Starkbucks Coffee Iron man shirt. The feelings are physical and come from a lifetime of self hatred and probably a lot of criticism from the world validating that you should hate yourself and that everyone is lying to you and will leave you the minute you turn around (not an exaggeration) so maybe consider that reality instead of shitting all over someone else’s. If you can’t imagine how hard it would be to unravel that so quickly, just learn to be grateful that you don’t have to. Try to understand. And maybe if people who hate themselves were faced with understanding, the hate would begin to subside. I don’t know, this rung a real cord for me.
