As much of an important and beautiful part of Zombies Ate My Pancreas shirt this is I find the need to hold onto brazilian culture by descendants of former slaves very confusing. When African slaves and their descendants were taken to Brazil the held on nightly to their African culture then you have their descendants who made it back now their holding onto the Brazilian roots they escaped from. Not that I am condemning them I’m not in their shoes, but it’s one thing to remember history it’s another to preserve it.
