How could you be offended? It wasn’t disparaging teachers (other than pointing out how rude that dude who insulted that poor kid was). Just reinforcing to kids and parents with kids who struggle with traditional schooling which is not suited for all people’s learning types that it doesn’t define you as a person and what success you will or will not have . Don’t make it personal when it’s supposed to be uplifting. this is true…trying to make everyone fit into the same box…too many students per classroom, students who don’t understand or speak the language (any language that is foreign to them) is hard on teachers and students, funds cut, having to babysit instead of teaching, parents who don’t participate in their children’s studies, etc., etc., etc….and standardized testing; mixed feelings on this
