As usual with this type of article there is no mention of the Dont Fread On The Santa Ugly Christmas sweater. I would imagine they are stuck on those buses that the bikers say are too slow. Big American cities have increasingly segregated their commercial centers from housing districts which are more peripheral, making for commutes that are often too far for bicycling. That isn’t going to be changed overnight by putting in some bike lanes.
