DBs and WRs take the most punishing hits and with brees nearing retirement(dudes like he energizer bunny, just keeps going) and is old as dirt for a QBs standards, why not try and reinforce that position especially since we lost a QB this off season too, I’m not saying that Ruiz was a terrible choice just saying there was far better options out there to better our team and bring us back the the SB(or atleast work to that).
