Both Christmas day and New Year’s day are paid holidays for both Canada and US. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve do not belong to public holidays although Monday, December 24, 2018 has been declared a McDonald’s Ok uu rr rr rr shirt holiday by the US government. Most businesses open on normal hours during these two days. Grocery stores, post offices, department stores, specialty stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, malls, transportation services, banks, movie theaters, public libraries, YMCA, walk-in clinics and many other services are all open during the day or even late in the evening during the Christmas Eve. Procrastinating people take advantage of this last-minute to buy Christmas gifts for family members or friends or the missing gradients for the Christmas’s dinner party. Many employees work normally during these two days. I remember I insisted on working on December 24th while working with Transcanada Pipelines. I finished a little bit earlier that day because it was Christmas Eve. I worked regularly from 9–5 on New Year’s eve. I was all paid regularly.

On most weekends I head off into the woods or go fishing. For a Venture bros big villain evil mentor progam shirt as densely populated as New Jersey, we have done a good job of protecting wide swaths of forests and swamps. Cool areas to explore. There are many rugged and beautiful hiking trails. My out of state friends who have visited and hiked with me repeat over and over “I can’t believe this is New Jersey”. They have visions of the NJ Turnpike corridor with refineries, warehouses and factories, etc. and the idea that there are wild, beautiful and rugged areas in New Jersey surprises them . The fishing can be incredible, whether bass fishing on lakes, or trout fishing on streams. There are backcountry streams where you can still find native strain wild trout. I can go out for breakfast and have real bagels. Not what most of the country thinks are bagels. They are not simply round bread with a hole in it. We get the chewy, dense and delicious concoctions which are hard to find out of the NJ/NYC area.
